Lea Ball - Head Coach & Level 2 Tri CoachI have been apart of Boston Triathlon Club and equally triathlon for many years. I have a keen interest in all disciplines and love to see everyone progress, whatever their fitness.
I have personal achievments in cold water swimming where I was in a relay team who won gold in the international ice swimming championships. |
Katie Ball - Level 2 Triathlon CoachI'm relatively new in triathlon, my first was around 6 years ago and since I have got a bit of a bug for it. I have travelled all over Europe and taken part in the Ironman 70.3 World Champs in 2019.
I love working with athletes of all abilities and hope that my experience and knowledge of the sport can be passed on to you all, so that you can be the best you want to be. |
Lynsey Ballans - Level 1 Triathlon CoachHi, i'm Lynsey. Where do I start, I want to be a role model for all those "normal" people out there. To show that we're not all elite athletes but full time working mums & dads giving it a go. 11 years ago I weighed 21 stone and decicded enough is was enough. I started kickboxing and then road running, but my love was triathlon. When I realised Boston had their own club I decided to join up and so began my 3 year plan. 2017 Sprints, 2018 Olympic, 2019 70.3, 2020..well lets see. If I can be an inspiration to just one person, to show that anything is possible with a bit of hard work then I'm happy.

Zoe Ward - Level 1 Triathlon CoachI’m very new to triathlon, I’ve always been a runner but only learnt to swim properly in early 2018, completing my first Sprint Triathlon in April of that year. I was encouraged to start cycling and swimming by the fantastic coaches and members of this club, I wouldn’t have believed I could without them! Now with a few more sprints and olympic distances under my belt I’m keen to help others in the same way, and this is my motivation for becoming a coach myself. We’re a friendly club so come and have a go!

Mark Harris - Level 1 Triathlon CoachI'm Mark. I'm a dad of 2 girls. I took up running whilst trying to get fit and loose some weight around 4 years ago. I quickly became hooked and ran my first 10km race in May 2018. Since then I have ran ultras, marathons, 70.3 triathlon and a lot of shorter races as well. My main passion is running and I am always researching and trying to learn more on the best ways to train and coach runners.
