Here you can see who the 2020 - 2021 committee members are. We are all here to help make sure your club is run in line with British Triathlon Guidelines and if you feel we could change anything to help better the club then we will always welcome feedback, positive and negative. Please find out how to contact us here.
Club Chair - Zoe WardI’m very new to triathlon, I’ve always been a runner but only learnt to swim properly in early 2018, completing my first Sprint Triathlon in April of that year. I was encouraged to start cycling and swimming by the fantastic coaches and members of this club, I wouldn’t have believed I could without them! Now with a few more sprints and olympic distances under my belt I’m keen to help others in the same way, and this is my motivation for becoming a coach myself. We’re a friendly club so come and have a go!

Welfare - Jo LovellAs another long standing member of the club I have so many fond memories from the years and I felt it was time for me to step up and put something back into the club. I wanted to be the events coordinator because I love seeing our members take part in worthwhile inclusive events. You can find me at nearly all the events we have planned, from Thursday track to Saturday with the Juniors.

Head Coach - Lea BallAs a long standing member of the club Lea has seen many changes over the years. With a keen interest in coaching and helping others develop Lea is eager to help move the club forward. As a keen cold pool and cold water swimmer there is no better time of the year than Autumn and Winter when we have an excuse to start playing around in random back yard ponds that. I have taken part in various swimming and sprint triathlon activities over the year, but admit I need to do more..

Secretary - Rachael SatchwellI joined BTC in 2017 after becoming interested after my husband was already a member. I could see then that the club had a supportive and encouraging environment, and a real family feel. Having never ridden a road bike before I took part in my first Go Tri event soon after joining, and my first Sprint distance Tri in 2018. From that point on I was hooked! I think last year really demonstrated to me what a positive impact sport can have on mental health, and I am looking forward to 2021 to see what the club and it’s members can achieve together!
