Club Chair - Zoe Ward
I’m very new to triathlon, I’ve always been a runner but only learnt to swim properly in early 2018, completing my first Sprint Triathlon in April of that year. I was encouraged to start cycling and swimming by the fantastic coaches and members of this club, I wouldn’t have believed I could without them! Now with a few more sprints and olympic distances under my belt I’m keen to help others in the same way, and this is my motivation for becoming a coach myself. We’re a friendly club so come and have a go!

Welfare - Jo Lovell
As another long standing member of the club I have so many fond memories from the years and I felt it was time for me to step up and put something back into the club. I wanted to be the events coordinator because I love seeing our members take part in worthwhile inclusive events. You can find me at nearly all the events we have planned, from Thursday track to Saturday with the Juniors.

Treasurer - Lynsey Ballans
Hi, I'm Lynsey. Where do I start, I want to be a role model for all those "normal" people out there. To show that we're not all elite athletes but full time working mums & dads giving it a go. 11 years ago I weighed 21 stone and decided enough is was enough. I started kickboxing and then road running, but my love was triathlon. When I realised Boston had their own club I decided to join up and so began my 3 year plan. 2017 Sprints, 2018 Olympic, 2019 70.3, 2020.. well lets see. If I can be an inspiration to just one person, to show that anything is possible with a bit of hard work then I'm happy.

Head Coach - Lea Ball
As a long standing member of the club Lea has seen many changes over the years. With a keen interest in coaching and helping others develop Lea is eager to help move the club forward. As a keen cold pool and cold water swimmer there is no better time of the year than Autumn and Winter when we have an excuse to start playing around in random back yard ponds that. I have taken part in various swimming and sprint triathlon activities over the year, but admit I need to do more..

Secretary - Rachael Satchwell
I joined BTC in 2017 after becoming interested after my husband was already a member. I could see then that the club had a supportive and encouraging environment, and a real family feel. Having never ridden a road bike before I took part in my first Go Tri event soon after joining, and my first Sprint distance Tri in 2018. From that point on I was hooked! I think last year really demonstrated to me what a positive impact sport can have on mental health, and I am looking forward to 2021 to see what the club and it’s members can achieve together!
